Be different!

I got this glasses last December.  It was a gift from one of my mentors.

Many people said it looked big. They tried it on and it was ok.

The glasses were not big.  My face is just too small.  Isn’t it a trend nowadays?  People wear weird stuff to make them different from the rest.  Maybe people around me are not used to seeing me wear something different or do something different.

Of course, I am different.  We are all made unique in His ways.  Good news is, He is the best of all the best artists.

So if someone says, you are weird, different, unique…thank them for recognizing that!

My thoughts while reading the book of Joshua

When I read the Bible Lord, specially the in the Old Testament.  It reminds you are God.  You are the most powerful.  All the while I had been living a life with you in my life as a casual personality with casual relationship.

I wondered how it would be like to be able to speak to you and even see you.  I am still at the book of Joshua yet I know I have not feared you enough.  Last night during my ENLI class, Pastor Josh said there are 2 greatest sins: Pride and Fear.  I have both.

I am thankful Lord for the steadfast love that you gave me.   For that heart that knows I have to be cleansed.  And if I am going to serve you, I have to know who the God I am serving.

And yet you speak “Fear me not” (as of writing).

Let me continue to know you God through your word.  Let me meditate on it (if possible day and night).

Let time nor place be a hindrance.  Help me Lord to be strong to stop temptations and block my ears from the lies that tells me I am not at the right attitude of reading.  May your word be my every need.

Amen.

Proposal for approval

Dear God,

Please be informed that I asked Santa to give me fund for my future.

I have informed him of those that I wanted to happen after receiving the fund.

May you approve this proposal Lord.  At the same time, bless every plan of action prepared.

Hoping for your kind consideration.

Regards,
Tina

Dear Santa

Dear Santa Clause,

I wish to win at the lottery so I can give for the give for the building fund in my church here in Singapore.
Also, give back the tithes which I held for the past 3 years.

I also want to buy the land where my church in Philippines is situated.

And last, I want to buy a house for my son, my mother and grandmother.
It would be a house that can with stand earthquake, flood and fire.

And for the extra money, I would like to save for my son’s education.

The rest, for our food consumption and something that I can use while looking for a job.

Am I asking too much?  Some even have greater.  I had been a good girl Santa.

Hope you will grant my wish.

Regards,
Tina
